Chris’ Three Olive Dip

OMG – This is the most delicious creamy, olive-y dip.
Chris’ Three Olive Dip has been calling my name everytime I walk past the fridge section at Woolies, for the past month or so, and I have been desperate to try it. The other day temptation got the better of me – and I bought this dip and a loaf of thick crusty bread.
The dip has got little chunks of olives throughout, and has a creamy base. The olive flavour is really strong and delicious.
I ate my dip with chunks of crusty bread – and it was so delicious I will have to refrain from buying it to eat with every piece of bread for the rest of my life.

I really really enjoyed this dip and will DEFINITELY be buying it again soon.

Window shopping

Here's a bunch of things I liked the look of whilst out shopping at my local Westfields the other day. I didnt buy any of them .... yet.

Currently loving this black and pink dress from CityChic. I love the skirt section.

This dress from Rockmans is super cute. It also has an exposed, chunky zipper at the back.

This bag from Strandbags brand BlueBird is really cute and perfect for taking shopping.

And I really liked these Wanted shoes.

Maybelline The Falsies mascara

I needed a new mascara and decided to try this one as it was on a great sale and I tend to like Maybelline products.
This mascara is very ... liquidy. Whilst other mascaras seem fairly dry whilst on the brush this one goes on very wet.
It does seem sticky originally, but with a lash comb, this is soon sorted out.
I like the look of the mascara once it is on and dry - it defines well, and adds some length and volume. It doesnt give the look of false lashes, although I admit, I only wear one or two coats.
The brush itself is curved and takes a bit of getting used to. It is sort of flattened, in that it is not circular like most, as well as having a spoon like curve.
I got the waterproof version and I will say it definitely is. After a somewhat hysterical crying fit I expected to look a mess with mascara smudged everywhere, but no, all still in place, exactly as i left it, including lower lashes. On me, it also doesnt flake.
I would buy this mascara again, however it is not my favourite.

Two Wolves

An elderly Cherokee native American was teaching his grandchildren about life.
He said to them, "A fight is going on inside me. It is a fight between two wolves. One represents fear, anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority complex, lies, pride and superiority. The other wolf stands for joy, peace, love, hope, sharing, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, friendship, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith. This same fight is going on inside you and every other person too"
The kids thought about it for a minute and then one of the kids asked, "which wolf will win?”
The old Cherokee simply replied," The one I feed."

I love this teaching. It is a fantastic principle. And so very true. When we look at others, it is often easy to see those for whom anger, arrogance or resentment has consumed their very being.

Body Shop Hand Cream

With almond oil, shea butter and soya oil.

This is a nice rich hand cream which soaks in quickly to the skin and doesn’t leave a greasy feel on the hands. It’s got that great clean, fresh, sweet scent which lingers on the hands all day, even after various washes (which is great if you like the smell, but a bit of a downer if you don’t).
It leaves your hands feeling softer and smoother instantly and after a few uses really begins to work its magic.

Has anyone tried any of the other Body Shop hand creams? I don’t know whether I want to try a new one, or stick with this know and love product.
